How much does the venue cost to rent?

A member of the facilities staff at the UCF FAIRWINDS Alumni Center will need to ask you a series of questions concerning your event and needs to estimate a cost for the rental. There are also special-rate categories and, depending on which rate category you're in, the staff member can assist in determining your rental cost.


What is the deposit fee?

The deposit is 50% of the room rental fee and is due when the contract is signed.


How do I make a reservation?

All requests for reservations need to be made through the facilities staff at the UCF FAIRWINDS Alumni Center. Simply fill out the online reservation form. Reservations cannot be made without a completed reservation form. 


Can I place a temporary hold on a date without a deposit?

 No. If the date is available, we will inform you of its availability, but we cannot offer courtesy holds. Space can only be reserved with a completed reservation form, signed contract and proper deposit.

 

Can I have an off-campus caterer for my event?

All catering  must be coordinated with an approved caterer of the University of Central Florida. The list of approved caterers consists of on- and off-campus vendors. View a current list of approved caterers.


Is alcohol permitted?

Yes, clients may coordinate their own alcohol through an approved caterer, the same as food. We require a licensed vendor to serve the alcohol at your event.

 

Do you allow candles?

Candles are permitted as long as the flame is enclosed in hurricanes or votives (no open flames are permitted).

 

Will there be someone at my event to help me in case something goes wrong?

Yes. UCF FAIRWINDS Alumni staff will be present throughout your  event (setup and breakdown) to assist with your needs.
