4EK Ambassadors

4EVER KNIGHTS Ambassadors are the official student representatives of the UCF Alumni Association. We serve as the governing body of one of the largest student organizations on campus, 4EVER KNIGHTS, or 4EK. Ambassadors are responsible for the positive promotion of the UCF Alumni Association and serve as a vital link between the UCF student body and alumni.

4EVER KNIGHTS Ambassadors assist the alumni association with special event planning and execution, marketing initiatives and recruitment strategies. Ambassadors are the official hosts of UCF Alumni Associationevents including Homecoming activities, athletic events, chapter and club programs, seminars, 4EK signature events, Family Weekend celebrations and much more.

2012 4EK Ambassadors

Any current student at UCF who has maintained at least a 2.75 GPA and has 12 or more credit hours is eligible to apply to become a 4EK Ambassador. Selection is not based on age or involvement in other organizations. We represent a wide range of campus activities, including professional, volunteer, athletic, social, and academic organizations.

Becoming an Ambassador is a commitment to service and support of 4EVER KNIGHTS and the UCF Alumni Association. We are seeking students who are able to make 4EK their first co-curricular priority. Take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about the inner-workings of UCF and jump-start your resume through your affiliation with the UCF Alumni Association. As a 4EK Ambassador, you are required to fulfill the following:

Complete mandatory events in the fall and spring
Attend bi-weekly meetings on Thursdays @ 5 p.m.
Complete a minimum of 50 hours per semester in events and office time
Serve on at least two standing committees
Be a dues-paying member of 4EVER KNIGHTS

February 20, 2012: Application posted
February 21, 2012 at 2 p.m.: Information Session I - Student Union Room 224
March 14, 2012 at 6 p.m.: Information Session II - FAIRWINDS Alumni Center
March 21, 2012: Ambassador Applications due at 5 p.m.
March 22, 2012 at 5 p.m.: Candidate Mixer - FAIRWINDS Alumni Center
March 26-28: *Candidate Interviews
March 30: Candidate Notification (via e-mail)
April 1 from 5-8 p.m.: Mandatory New Ambassador Orientation - FAIRWINDS Alumni Center
