Leadership Opportunities

Chapter officers and committee members gather at executive committee meetings to plan events and coordinate communications. Each year the chapter works to host a signature event for nursing alumni. Past events include: health education and screenings, family picnics, tailgating parties, the Research, Renewal, and Roses Banquet, and the College of Nursing's 25th Anniversary Gala celebration.

The College of Nursing Alumni Chapter is looking for officers to help grow the chapter and plan future events. Open positions include: Chair, Vice Chair, Communications Chair and Special Events Chair. Celebrating Class of '82, '92 and '02 Grads in 2012

The UCF College of Nursing began as a department in 1978 with a small group of students. The first class graduated in 1981 with their B.S.N. degrees. The tradition of hosting a nursing reunion began in 2011, which marked the program's 30-year anniversary and first graduating class for our B.S.N. program.

This year we will celebrate grads from 1982, 1992 and 2002, and we want to hear from you! Where are you now? How has the profession changed since you earned your nursing degree? What advice would you give the next generation of nursing students? We'd like to collect class photos for each of the celebrated grad years, like the one pictured below submitted by someone in the Class of 1981.
