These dinners are held in the fall and spring at several locations to accommodate our alumni throughout Central Florida. Attendees earn one contact hour for their participation.
Spring 2014 Continuing Education Dinners
Feb. 20, Mar. 27, Apr. 10
The UCF College of Nursing Alumni chapter will host three continuing education dinners this spring across Central Florida as a part of the Women and Stable Ischemic Heart Disease Lecture Series. Attendees will earn one continuing nursing education unit (CNE) hour for their participation. Following the lecture, guests will hear an update on the college from Dr. Mary Lou Sole, Interim Dean for the College of Nursing, and learn how to stay connected to the UCF Alumni Association from Annie O'Donnell.
This program will discuss the epidemiologic trends as well as the health and economic burden of SIHD in women. In addition, discussion will include important pathophysiologic factos in SIHF, diagnostic approaches, risk stratification, and management approaches in women with stable ischemic heart disease.
